Day 9, an hour after lunch
Guess what? yep, hungry again. So I had an egg and some ham, then felt extraordinarily tired, just could not keep awake. Lets hope this is ketosis as I am not going to do this for much longer at this rate. The more I think about it the more annoyed I am that I have had 8 days of hunger, bloatedness and constipation, and the odd spot without any weight loss because I was missing out on some vital information at the start of all this.

Day 9, an hour after lunch and hungry again
Bugger, I thought it was getting better. I left lunch very late on purpose but there is no way I can go another hour without a snack, let alone 4 of them.

Day 9 Golower lunch and vital missing information
Lunch was Tex Mex soup at 3.30pm and pint of water number 2 and I actually feel full! I had a couple of slices of ham at 1pm but as I know I will be eating late I wanted to push my lunch to later today.
Now the vital information……
The Go Lower members forum is ace, it is very useful to see other people that have not gone into ketosis in the first week as well. Today I have learnt that
The yoghurt I have on my breakfast is 6.6g per 100g whereas I have now learnt that Go Lower reccomend up to 4g per 100, oh it would have been good to know that last week.
And, in an email from support I learnt that veg have different amounts of carbs in them, so more veg can up the carbs and delay ketosis.
This is a snippet of the email from support:
“The shopping list we provide with the box is again worked out so that the carb content of the veg is low (that’s why some portions may seem bigger than others) Below is a an example of a typical day on the Go Lower diet:
Breakfast: Granola with 2 dessert spoons of natural yoghurt and one handful of berries(100g)
Mid morning snack: A snack of plain chicken such as a chicken drumstick
Lunch: Mushroom soup (or any variety of soup)
Mid-afternoon snack: 1 Go Lower nut bar
Evening Meal: One of the Go Lower meals with one portion of veg from the list i.e. 1 quarter of cabbage
Evening Snack: A high protein snack such as chicken, egg, cheese ( roughly the size of 1 babybel) or a small handful of nuts (either brazil nuts, almonds or walnuts)
Included in this day, at least 8 glasses of water must be consumed as this is vital to achieve optimal weight loss.”
I really wish I had that information 9 days ago, what a waste of time!

Day 9 Go Lower, weight 10st 2lb, waist 32 inches – loss nill
Well, the good news is that this mornin I did not wake up so hungry I could eat the cat, and I had a very respectable poo, so I feel a bit better inside.
I had a cup of tea and a pint of water at 8 then was busy so I didn’t get around to breakfast until 10. I was hungry, but not that terrible tearing insatible hunger I have had for the other 8 days.
Had crunchy things, berries and yoghurt. The food is getting pretty boring so I bought some steak for tea.
