Day 7 dinner and metabolism

7pm bit of cheese

7.30 boiled egg and pint of water

8.00 home made roast chicken (marinaded in lemon juice, olive oil and chilli) and steamed cabbage, greenbeans and leeks with mozzerella.  I am craving vegetables.

Hannah from Go Lower says she is struggling to understand my metabolism and that I need to eat dinner earlier. If I eat earlier I get hungry later, so it really makes little difference but I will try that tomorrow.

I think I understand my metabolism; it is fast!  What I am finding with Go Lower is that I get hungry very quickly, with very little warning and that meals or snacks do not stave off hunger for very long.

If I cut out starch and sugar from my normal diet….

If I cut out bread pasta, cake and biccies from my normal diet I always lose weight and my tummy is flatter in a week. I would not be constipated or bloated and I would feel healthy instead of clogged up, and I would not be hungry all the time.

How can not eating veg be healthy? The nasty taste in my mouth is from lack of fresh veg, I had the same thing after visiting some friends abroad who eat meat 3 times a day, I came home feeling poisoned and ate tofu and salad for a weekto recover.

I am so pissed off that I have stuck to this Go Lower diet ridgidly but it is not working.  I was hoping clothes would be looser 7 days in, not tighter.

Day 7 of the Go Lower diet, 7pm hungry hungry hungry

hungry!

I had a chocolate chewy bar at 5pm, with a pint of water and I have just had a bit of cheese but guess what

I am still hungry!

Day 7 2pm hunger scale 4 slightly hungry

So I had an egg with mayo and some cheese.

And a pint of water and a cup of coffee.

The Hunger Scale

I found this whilst looking up how to tell if you are really hungry, as I am starting to question my judgement on the matter.

How to tell if you’re really hungry

“The hunger scale is a nutritionist’s tool that can help you learn how to eat only when you’re actually hungry and stop as soon as you start to feel full. Here’s how it works: When you want to eat, first figure out where you are on a scale of one to ten, with one being ravenously hungry and ten being painfully overstuffed.

1 Insatiably hungry
2 Seriously hungry
3 Stomach growling hungry
4 Slightly hungry
5 No longer hungry but not yet satisfied
6 Comfortably satisfied
7 Starting to feel full
8 Feeling quite full
9 Starting to get a stomach ache from so much food
10 In actual pain from overeating”

I have just eaten Go Lower chicken and mushroom something or other, with extra cheese on top and I am at level  5 No longer hungry but not yet satisfied

Day 7 lunch time, still hungry

I am loosing faith in this rapidly.

I had a chewy bar at around 11am, it is now one and I am going to have some Go Lower soup.

I have been trying to make sure I am properly hungry, difficult in a way to decide when you are consipated and bloated, but my tummy is rumbling and I am finding it difficult to concentrate on things, so I think that is hunger.

Day 7 breakfast, bloating and waist still 32 inches.

Breakfast was Go Lower crunchy stuff, berries and yoghurt. I have a box of defrosted berries in the fridge that I am not going to throw away so instead of 2 eggs for breakfast I am having them. Also I crave fresh things bursting with nice juicy vitamins instead of things from packets.

I am back to feeling constipated and bloated.

Yesterday, when I cooked my own food (steak and egg, no veg) and the night before when I had home cooked steak in a peanut butter and chilli sauce I stopped farting so much, I had normal poos and I wasn’t bloated.

Today, after last nights Go Lower meal, and todays Go Lower breakfast, I feel bloated and constipated again.

The Go Lower food is lovely, very tasty and full of good things with no nasty additives so I don’t know how it is responsible for the farting. I gave some Go Lower Pork Meatballs to my boyfriend and we had to open the bedroom window as we were both stinking the place out.
