Fast response from Hannah!
Hannah is going to ‘reconfigure’ my box, with less dairy and I will start in a couple of weeks, when I don’t have plans to stay away from home for a month.

The parcels arrive
2 heavy boxes.
All very strange – all seems to be based on cream and cheese, neither of which I can eat in quantity or my stomach complains, cramps and I am on the loo for the next hour. The crisps are sort of pork scratchings, which I wouldn’t consider buying unless I was very very drunk. The treats are 2 chocolate coated brazils or a bar of something that looks like it would be a bit like a frys mint chocolate bar, not really my cup of tea. It just does not look like a very healthy way to eat.
The bit about what to get to go with it is not terribly helpful, pro biotic yoghurts are ok, but tricky finding ones without sugar in, also no fruit other than berries. A good clear list of what you can and can’t have would be useful.
Hmm, how the hell am I going to work this around going to visit my vegan parents next week?

The Go Lower Phone Consultation
I have just had a chat with Hannah who was very reassuring about the whole thing. I will still be able to cook, they love it when their clients cook and I will still be able to drink.
Now we have to sort out the logistics of getting a parcel of food to me without the neighbours nicking it.

Introduction
I do all sorts of things in the name of research, and to get free things, last month it was an iron I had to test, the month before a brand of yoghurt.
This months, through Mumszone, I have been lucky enough to get free food for a month and the chance to shift the stone that sticks.
I will be trailling the Go Lower diet that works by putting your body into a state of Ketosis by depriving it of sugar and starch. As I pretty much live on sugar, starch, alcohol and coffee this might be a shock to the system, but I would like my clothes to be more comfortable, so it is worth a go.
