Day 5 of healthy eating, or day 1 again depending on how you look at it!

My tummy was still upset this morning after drinking wine 2 days ago!
Breakfast was blueberries and live yoghurt.
Lunch, a banana and a couple of oatcakes with peanut butter
Dinner, baked potato, baked sweet potato, hummous, salsa, salad………
Yum yum and I feel much better!

Day 4, a write off!

I had 3 glasses of white wine last night with a chicken stir fry (still keeping off wheat and dairy, just needed a treat).
I woke up at 5 with a hangover and a tummy ache.
Had porridge, water, tea, coffee, paracetamol and tried to sleep (as much as you can with a 5 year old around!). Gave up about 1 ish and had a tin of Guiness and a roast chicken dinner (with sweet potatos instead of potatos but with stuffing and a yorkshire pudding.
Still felt awful so had tin of Guinness number 2 and about 4 slices of cake (carrot and banana including milk and dairy!)
Dinner will probably be leftover roast.
Tomorrow is a new day!

Day 4, a write off!

Day 3 detox

Breakfast porridge, brazil nuts, grapes a bit of honey and soya milk.
Lunch – leftover beany stew and rice from yesterday.
Lots of tea!
Coffee
Snack of leftover porridge and blueberries.
Dinner tonight will be chicken and cashew nuts and a couple of glasses of white wine, I am a bit stressed!

Day 2 food diary

Breakfast – porridge and a cup of tea with soya milk.
Through the day 3 bowls of spicy chickpea and bean stew and brown rice. Extended from yesterdays.
Nuts, Grapes, Satsumas, Soyamilk hot water and honey.
It is freezing!
Just about to roast some chestnuts on the burner.
I am still aching from yesterday but my tummy is definatly flatter. I bought a whole load of cakes/jam tarts/biccies for my son’s packed lunch but I am not tempted, yet!

Ouchy ouch (day 2 of detoxing)

My legs hurt! I am not used to using them running, or doing squats, of which I did 30 yesterday.

Starting again after Xmas

Well, after Xmas I am 2lb’s heavier, now weighing in at 10st 5.

food today
2 bananas
2 cups of tea
carrot soup
handful of cashews
2 satsumas
sweetcorn and chickpea and spinach stew with brown rice
2 pints of water

I am doing a variation of the Carol Vordeman Detox.

I left the car at school this morning and jogged/walked home and then back at noon to get T, I’ll build up to running very slowly as I am incredibly unfit now!

Where is my sweet tooth?

I went to a vegi and vegan fair today, lots of free samples but I didn’t feel like gorging on them at all. I tried most things, wasn’t tempted to eat my sons icecream and didn’t fancy a cake at the cafe.

Breakfast – porridge with nuts and dried fruit

Lunch – avocado, spinach and 2 bits of toast with olive oil and pepper

Dinner – baked potato and tuna mayo in the pub with a pint of beer

When I got home I had some mulled wine and a couple of biccies, I didn’t really fancy them but they were there, gingerbread iced ones. 2 biccies was enough.

During the Go Lower experiment I had no sugar for a couple of weeks and when I did have some it was far too sugary popcorn that we made at home. I just couldn’t stop eating it and I felt pretty rough after for hours.

I think it made me realise that too much sugar makes me feel awful, it is just not worth it!

Todays food diary

Breakfast – a banana

Lunch – 2 vegi sausages, a mountain of mash and some fried onions, red cabbage, pepper and garlic.

Dinner – meaty pasty, potatoes, big pile of steamed veg, mayo

Pint of ale.

Gonna take some hot chocolate to bed!

My clothes are decidedly looser.

3 pounds down – from not eating cake!

I am now 10st, just by not eating cake and eating loads of veg. I have been drinking lots of wine too, yippee!
